Michael Schenker teams up with Eric Singer on 'Heavy Hitters'
CD
From : Blabbermouth.net
Legendary rock producer and musician
Bob Kulick (MEATLOAF, KISS) has almost finished producing
"Michael Schenker and Heavy Hitters", an all-star
lineup of musicians based around guitar virtuoso Michael
Schenker (MSG, UFO, SCORPIONS) paying homage to their
contemporaries. This 10-track powerhouse collection features
an impressive lineup of artists showcasing their
renditions of such classic songs as "War Pigs",
"All Shook Up", "Money", "Doctor,
Doctor" and "Hair of the Dog", to name just a
few. All cuts feature Michael Schenker on guitar. Eric Singer
is featured on the song "I Don't Live Today". |

: Dan
Lorenzo covers "Two Timer"
From
: Dan
Lorenzo
Former HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo
has issued the following update:
"I should finish my third solo
CD 'Cut From A Different Cloth' in a
couple of days. Recording at Crystal
Studios went even quicker than
normal. I wrote ten new songs since
my last release ('Nice Being Alone')
five months ago. The new CD has more
developed 'songs' as opposed to
ideas. A few SABBATH style, lots of
riffs.
Bassist Jimmy Schulman [HADES]
co-wrote two songs with me, one is
my first instrumental. Plus we did
'Two Timer' by KISS ".

: Eric
Singer to rescue Union Japan dates
From
: Bruce
Kulick
Brent Fitz unexpectedly had to drop
out of the Japanese KISS Expo. Seems
Brent has a great opportunity to
tour Canada and won't be able to
drum with UNION. Bruce made a few
calls and none other than KISS
drummer Eric Singer came to the
rescue. Eric will join Bruce, John
Corabi and Jamie Hunting for the two
Japanese shows on Jan. 29th &
30th. The lineup will perform
several UNION songs and classic
cover tunes, which will of course
include KISS songs. Eric will also
appear at the expos during the day
to greet fans and sign autographs.
