Bruce Kulick recorded "Drive My Car" for a yet-untitled metal tribute to the Beatles.
Also Eric Singer is involved with the album, playing drums on “Back in the
U.S.S.R.”, with Motorhead's Lemmy on bass and singing, and John
5 on guitars.
The Bob Kulick produced album will be released by Rykodisc later
this year.
Others names involved with this tribute are guitarists George Lynch, Billy Gibbons, Vivian Campbell, Jeff “Skunk”
Baxter; Billy Gibbons singing “Revolution,Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades on “Day Tripper”, Jeff
Scott Soto (with Yngwie Malmsteen) on "Magical Mystery Tour".

Versailles Records has announced the forthcoming release of Italian rocker Chris Catena's double-CD solo project, due in the spring of 2007. The two-disc set will consist of a studio album and live album, collectively featuring a star-studded guest list of players that includes Doug Aldrich, John Taylor, Al Kooper, Chester Thompson, Stephen Ferrone, Glenn Hughes, BRUCE KULICK, Stevie Salas, Jeff Scott Soto, Mickey Moody, Bernie Marsden, John Lawton, Kelly Simonz, Johnny Olhin, Doug Wimbish, Vitalik Kuprij, Tony Franklin, Tommy Aldridge, Dave Meniketti, Myron Dove, Chuck Wright, ERIC SINGER, Virgil Donati, Tommy Denander, Kee Marcello, Benny Johansson, Daniel Flores, and Marco Mendoza. "VH1 Rock Honors" is the first-ever show to pay homage to the legends who influenced the sound of hard rock. This year's celebration honors the music and influence of JUDAS PRIEST, KISS, QUEEN and DEF LEPPARD.
"VH1 Rock Honors" was taped May 25, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and includes performances by all of the honorees as well as additional tribute performances by GODSMACK, FOO FIGHTERS (paying tribute to QUEEN) and THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS (DEF LEPPARD).
