Michael Gapys, young polish guitarist/composer has been invited by Italian singer Chris Catena to work on his second solo CD called "Discovery - Return of the Galactic Freakboy". On this album Gapys will play with many well known musicians such as Bobby Kimball (Toto), Uriah Duffy (Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and now Whitesnake), Earl Slick (David Bowie, David Coverdale), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Blue Murder, Rod Stewart), Marco Mendoza (Ted Nugent, Soul Sirkus, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Bruce Kulick (Kiss), Stevie Salas (Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart), Tony Franklin (The Firm, Whitesnake, Blue Murder), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) and many more. Gapys will record guitars for several songs (including guitar duet with Bruce Kulick) and compose one song especially for this record. The song is called "Busted".

July 4 : LULLACRY 's KISS coverversion in stores July 9th

Finland's LULLACRY will release their new single, "Stranger in You", on July 9 via Spinefarm Records. The title cut, which comes off the group's upcoming "Vol. 4" CD, will be backed by a cover of KISS' "I Stole Your Love".

Added today are live audio samples from CRISS Nashville's November 17, 1995.
During "The Bad Boys Of Kiss Tour", together with Ace Frehley's band, CRISS performed a couple of unreleased songs including "Called You Crazy", "Knock Out", "My Reality", "Seeds" and "Leave Me Alone".

June 29 : Ken Kelly artwork for 'Gods Of Thunder - A Norwegian Tribute To KISS' is ready

Yesterday KISS Army Norway & Voices Music Entertainment proudly unveiled the Ken Kelly painting that will become the cover for the upcoming Norwegian tribute CD. 
Kelly painted both the classical Destroyer and Love Gun covers.
A large bunch of national press and special invited fans were present at Sentrum Scene in Oslo where the event took place. The KISS tribute album will be released September 5th and will be called "Gods Of Thunder - A Norwegian Tribute To KISS". 

Executive producer Stig Karlsen clame that the album will bring tribute CD's to a new level both musically and visually. The album consist of #1 chart topping and award winning bands from Norway. Among them millionselling Espen Lind, and World Idol winner Kurt Nilsen who won over US platinum artist Kelly Clarkson in last years final.
Billboard US top 100 hundred artist Stage Dolls and the members from TNT Ronni Le Tekro & Tony Harnell are also on the album. The Norwegian superstars Wig Wam do "I Was Made for Loving You" with former KISS-guitarist Bruce Kulick who wanted to pay tribute to his Norwegian fans. Gene Simmons Norwegian favorites Shirleys Temple, the
band behind the song Asshole do "God Of Thunder".
