- You’re All I Want [with Paul Stanley]
Previously released on the KISS 2011 “Box set”, though from a
different master, this recording features a slight arrangement
change. With Paul Stanley on rhythm- and lead guitar, chorus
harmonies, the two demoed the song while on tour.
The song also appears on a demo compilation of Gene Simmons
ideas dated 1979.
While this song ended on KISS 1980 “Unmasked” album, this 1977
demo version sounds like it would fit on Gene Simmons’ 1978 solo
album.

"Creatures Of The Night" sessions 1982
Recorded at Record Plant Studios, Los Angeles, CA
disk 04 - track 16
- It’s My Life [co-written with Paul
Stanley]
The song didn’t make it to
the “Creatures Of The Night” album, so Gene Simmons took the song to
Wendy O. Williams for the
W.O.W album (1984).
Ultimately, the basis of “It’s My Life” was an unfinished Paul
Stanley demo.
Gene Simmons completed the song on Paul’s melody and
pre-existing chorus.
In 1988 Gene Simmons should produce
KING KOBRA's third album, but later on
drummer Carmine Appice decided to do it himself. In result the
band still recorded both unreleased “Creatures” songs; “It’s My
Life” and “Legends Never Die”.
In 1998, KISS re-recorded “It’s My Life” for "Psycho Circus".
Ace Frehley would play some guitar on the recording and share
some of the vocals, but again the song find itself excluded from
a KISS album.
The 1998 version of “It’s My Life” is finally released on the
2001 KISS “Boxset”.
