NOTES
:
Produced
by Gene Simmons.
Engineered by Frank Filipetti.
Recorded and mixed at Right Track Studio's, New York 1983.
Track 02 : "It's My
Life" would be a KISS demo from the "Creatures Of The
Night" sessions overdubbed with Wendy O' Williams voice.
Track
04 : "Thief In The Night",
written by Gene Simmons and Mitch Weissman, is later recorded by
KISS for the "Crazy Nights" album (1987).
Track 08 : "Legends Never
Die" : written by Gene Simmons, Adam Mitchell and Micki
Free. Recorded by KISS in 1982 during the "Creatures Of The
Night" sessions, but at the time the song never had a vocal
track put on it. In 1983 Simmons took the KISS track and
add Wendy O'
Williams vocals to it.
Originally titled "When The Legends Dies", credited to
Micki Free and Gene Simmons. On WOW Micki Free is credited on
acoustic guitars indicating that Gene Simmons may simply have
used a Free/Simmons/Carr demo instrumental for this track.
Track 09 : "Ain't None Of Your Business" : written by Gene Simmons,
Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent, this song has nothing to do with
the track with the same title demoed by KISS in 1976.
The
Plasmatics line up at the time was :
Wendy
O'Williams (lead vocals)
Wes Beech (rhythm guitar)
Richard Stotts (lead guitar)*
TC Tolliver ( drums)
Chris Romanelli (bass)*
Managed by Rod Swenson.
* Richard Stotts would not play on the WOW album with Michael
Ray being used instead.
* Chris Romanelli would not play on the WOW album. Gene Simmons
played the bass parts.
