* Track 01 : according to the original 1990 copyright
registration "Love For Sale" is written by Peter Criss
and Kevin Russell. "Love For Sale" would eventually be
released on Mark
St. John's 1999 EP, credited to himself and Peter Criss.
Following the transformation of the Keep into CRISS, the band
would re-demo the song with the new line-up. There would be
minor lyrical modifications to the song, probably that's why
it's credited to Phil Naro and Peter Criss this time.
This song would be performed live by the CRISS band with
vocalist Philip Bardowell, who had replaced Phil Naro.
* Track 02 : written by Peter Criss and Philip John Sampognaro
(Phil Naro) in late 1990. On the demo the song would be sung by
Phil Naro. This version of the song sound harder and faster than
the version recorded by CRISS
in 1994.
* Track 03 : is a cover version of Lee Michaels Top-10 hit in
1971, and can be found on his "Fifth" album (One Way
Records 33644). Also demoed by The
KEEP,
which version is different to the CRISS demoversion.

Track 04 - 05 : according to the original 1990 copyright
registration "Between The Lines" is written by Peter
Criss, Mark St. John and Rick Delong. "Between The
Lines" would eventually be released on Mark
St. John's 1999 EP,
credited to himself and Peter Criss.
Like the other previous demoed THE KEEP songs, this song would
also have arrangement changes. There are two different recordings
of this track. The differences between the two are primarily in relation to the levels of production each had
reached.
* Track 07 : Phil Naro would recycle this song as
"Surrender (In The Name Of Love)", which forms parts
of the lyrics at the beginning of the song.
Phil's recording of "Surrender (In The Name
Of Love)" would get Peter Criss a co-writing credit on the 24K
"Pure" album
(2000).
Phil Naro has also recorded "No, I'm Not Afraid" with
Mark St. John for Mark
St. John's 1999 EP.
This song would be performed live by the CRISS band with
vocalist Philip Bardowell, who had replaced Phil Naro.
* Track 06 - 07 : In 2013 the
original 1991 demo versions of both songs appears on the
Deluxe Edition iTunes release of "A
WORLD WITHOUT HEROES - A KISS Tribute For Cancer Care - A 40th
Anniversary Celebration".
* Track 09 - 11 : These three songs would be
published through BMI.
* Track 12 :
Nothing came of the song
"Donna" at the time. In 2002 Z-Records released
Phil Naro's "Glass
Mountain" (ZR-1997070) album, which contains a 3:43
version of "Donna".
Track 13 : details by

"Body & Soul" is recorded during the demo session at Brooklyn Studios in LA
during the spring of 1991, this Phil Naro composition was not
used on the demo tape and has remained unknown and unheard until
now.
(Phil Naro later recorded a new version of the song for his 1993
self released
NARO demo cassette, as well as
for his 1999 album "Ten
Year Tour", both without the members
of CRISS).
