The Social Club is a multi-genre,
multi-ethnic band that appeals to a wide variety of people. Each
band member has a distinctly unique personality and musical
background. This diversity allows the band to musically satisfy
their broad fan base. The Social Club is influenced by an
eclectic collection of artists and groups such as; KISS, Alice
in Chains, The Beastie Boys, Guns n Roses and Tupac.
The Social Club was formed after the release of D'Aveli's The
Social Club in July of 2010. The band consists of D'Aveli,
Etheros, Papi Shulo, and P.h.D. They coined the phrase "Durty
Southern Hip Rok" and the new sound and genre was born. The new
album "Welcome to the Club" breaks away even more from the
typical hip hop anthems found on previous releases and explores
a more organic "Live" sound through crushing rock guitar riffs
and live drum elements. |
